Windows Media Player always write playlist files (.wpl) with absolute paths. WD TV devices only can deal with relative paths.
It’s possible to run a simple sed script to replace the absolute path for a relative one.
Windows Media Player uses a Library pointing to a share. In my case a Iomega Home Media device: \\MYDISK\Music
That share it’s your default library path in WMP, so playlists will be written in \\MYDISK\Music\Playlist
#!/bin/sh sed -i s/\\\\\\\\MYDISK\\\\Music/../g *.wpl
Store it in \\MYDISK\Music\Playlist
cd /mnt/pools/A/A0/Music/Playlists chmod +x fix-pl.sh ./fix-pl.sh
